Playing with the Versatile Scarf.
Scarves are so Versatile. And if you need to have one essential in your wardrobe, it has to be the scarf in all sorts of prints. I generally shop my scarves in bulk from Sarojini Market. They come in all kinds of textures, hues and prints. And the best thing about scarves is that you do not have to have really costly ones. The ones at Sarojini would cost you around Rs.50 to Rs.100. And as for me, I love wearing scarves, using to their max. self life and then discarding and going on to another whole lot of them. That way, you have a huge wardrobe and you get to experiment and play around with a whole lot of them.
Today, I've worn my scarf over a dull purple tank, and as a vest. Since it is very cold here in my part of the world and a little sunny too, so I preferred throwing on my Corduroy Jacket over it to add some texture and layering. However, I forgot to add a thin belt which I should have done over the vest so as to accentuate the waistline.
