In my last post I had talked about Colours N Moods. Yesterday I received a mail from a dear follower asking to do a post on Which Colours Would Best Fit You.
Let me tell you, It all depends on your hair colour, skin tone, and obviously attitude. Here's a general guide:
PINK SKIN, BLOND OR FAIR HAIR- Your colours are Chocolate brown, pale olive, bright green, pale blue, powder blue, all shades of pink, and most shades of purple.
PALE SKIN, RED HAIR- You could try All greens, pastel blues, purples and pinks, denim colours, black and grey.
MEDIUM SKIN, BROWN HAIR- Most Indian people fall under this category. Your colours are- Black, dark denim, grey, bright red, blue-greens and green-blues, white, and blue-purples.
OLIVE SKIN, BROWN OR BLACK HAIR- People with this combination should try All reds and browns, white, violet, bright blues, and muted pinks.
BROWN SKIN, DARK HAIR- If you fall in this category, you could try Most reds, especially orange-reds, white, soft blues, purples and pinks, neon greens and yellows, purple, and violet.
SKIN WITH YELLOW UNDERTONES, DARK HAIR- Dark berry reds, bright reds, black, green, pale blues, and dark purples are definitely your colour.
Having stated that, the best way to tell what's best for you is to try on different colours and get opinions from trusted friends. Remember- The key to everything great is always to EXPERIMENT. Be bold to experiment with what colours you wear and yes Do break the rules in Style.
Coming to the outfit, here's what I wore to a Brunch with my new friends from University.
Dress: Deal Jeans, Sohum Emporio.
I've worn this dress here and the shirt here. The necklace is actually a bronze charm bracelet worn as a necklace. Had I not started blogging I would have never had enough courage to experiment with my wardrobe. I'm thankful to all those lovely bloggers from whom I derive inspiration each day and have grown as a blogger myself. The journey till this point was indeed an amazing Roller Coaster Ride. The love from followers and guidance from friends makes me feel special. Thank you all.
Special thanks to Elle at http://www.fastfoodandfastfashion.com/ for the shirt tying technique!
Hope you enjoyed the post.
Until next time,
