Ethnic and Simple.

Hello Friends,
As promised, I'm back again. Yesterday was Chhath Puja, our main festival as I already told you in my last post. It ended this morning with offerings to the rising sun. I bought this dress from a label-less shop in Guwahati and I quite liked it's structure. The best thing about what I'm wearing is that it's not very heavy, is simple yet gorgeous and the colour is my favourite. The material is net over satin lining and when worn, feels just great and comfortable.

Chhath Puja is one time when my entire family gathers under one roof and everyone from  male to female, from kids to oldies are equally excited to go to the ghats and celebrate. It is a custom to go to the ghats two times. Once to offer prayers to the setting sun and the next time to the rising sun. This is when we went to offer prayers or arghya to the setting sun i.e on 1st November at 3.00pm.

Hope you like this post.
